The BAHA project would not be possible without the support of the National Museum of Liberia, and the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism. Our project prioritizes capacity building and sustainability. Through our partnership with the National Museum,  archaeological collections with provenance are being stored and cared for at an institution that suffered tremendous looting during the war years and has only recently reopened its doors.

Our team has also worked closely with officials at the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism, ensuring that our research also meets the needs of local government, especially as Liberia develops a tourism industry.
